We're winners! 2011 Excellence in IT Recruitment Award

We’re winners! It was second time lucky at the 2011 New Zealand CIO Awards on Monday night, where we were named winners of the Excellence in IT Recruitment Award.

Sponsored by ITCRA, the award celebrates true excellence, considering factors such as customer service, ethics, training and innovation. This was our 2nd year nominated and our first win at these awards, taking the top spot ahead of other category finalists.

Judges comments include “Potentia is taking a decisive leadership role in issues around the approaching technology talent shortfall; educating appropriate graduates, encouraging qualified immigration, and calling for action through political channels. Beneath this 'helicopter' is a strong connection with their market place; the website is populated with customers applauding Potentia’s high degree on industry knowledge and professionalism and candidates applauding the range of roles available and a highly sophisticated coaching programme.”

We congratulate the other winners on the night; Russell Jones (ASB Bank, CIO of the Year award) and Connon Daly (HairyLemon Web Solutions, Emerging ICT Talent award). Winners were announced Monday night at the CIO Summit at the Sky City Convention Centre.
