Here at Potentia we are excited to share that we are now in our new offices!
In terms of distance we didn’t go very far – just down the hallway in the Old South British Building, but the difference between the spaces is amazing! The new office is more than twice the size of our old (actually only 18 months old - we outgrew it!) office and has undergone a complete redesign and refit, as designed by architect Chris Holmes from CAAHT Studio.
The Old South British Building was built during the art deco period and at the time of its completion in 1929 was the tallest building in Auckland. It is still recognized as the largest and one of the finest 'Chicago-style' high-rises in Auckland. As a Category I historic building, there were some restrictions of what could be done to ensure preservation of Auckland's architectural history. Bearing this in mind, our design plan was to incorporate and emphasize the original features whilst adding a modern flair. The result is a high stud, exposed concrete and services, and more natural light than a glasshouse. The additional space has been put to use to increase the number of meeting rooms and to accommodate our growing team.
With a newly refitted bar/bistro on level 1 (#1 High Street) and the entertainment/shopping precinct on our doorstep, we're surrounded by the best elements of Auckland. Stop in and see us next time you're in the city!

When I first arrived at my new role I had been out of the corporate market for over 3 months and I was struggling to get my rhythm. After the first couple of weeks I had my first session with Peter who, thankfully, managed to help me open my eyes to how to be the best person to do the job I had been recruited for.
