The opportunity:

Dedicated to being at the forefront of innovation, this organisation is currently evolving its internal technology capability to underpin its current and future customer strategy. How you might ask? Through a full digital transformation including the augmentation of existing cloud and infrastructure teams with additional capability and leadership. With a range of varying systems and infrastructure processes (including both on premise and cloud) there is a huge opportunity to continue driving forward into the cloud landscape. This role will see you carry out the design, implementation and successful long term operation of new technologies.

Their goal is to be New Zealand's leading energy brand, where customer interactions deliver value and opportunities in a rapidly changing marketplace. With the addition of new power generation methods planned for 2020, they will become one of the few companies worldwide, and the only one in New Zealand, with an impressive repertoire of renewable energy - wind, geothermal, hydro and solar.

From the second you walk in, to the moment you scoot away, take a look around the stunning offices and it's hard to miss. The colour, vibrance, collaboration, and energetic hum created by passionate people who care about what they do. You'll also maximise the value of existing systems through proactive management of technical debt, identifying investment opportunities and creating fit for purpose detailed designs. To achieve this, you'll liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal teams (architect, delivery, governance, ICT leaders) and external providers.
