The role:
This kiwi company is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer with a strong Power BI experience to join their tight knit team in Auckland CBD. Aside from the usual BAU responsibilities, you will also be involved in multiple exciting projects.

The fit (Ideal Contractor):
Minimum 5 years of experience working BI and Analytics area, preferable with financial industry experience.
Expert at wrangling data.
Experience using visualisation tools such as Power BI and DAX (preferred)
Experience using some of the Microsoft Suite such as SSIS, SSRS or SSAS.
Strong ability to share insights through a variety of mediums.
Project management and key software development disciplines.
Self-motivated, action and results orientated.
Experience in Agile/Scrum.
Experience working in a big data environment or creating predictive models would be highly desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadline.
Experience of using SQL (SSMS) is essential. Python, R, Power Query (M Language) are preferred, but not essential.
