Due to our clients growth and increased focus on strengthening the Digital Operations we are recruiting a fantastic opportunity for a Cloud and Infrastructure Manager to join a future-focused digital workplace team in a 3 month contract (with the potential of extension). The duration of this contract is 3 months to backfill the role of the current Cloud & Infrastructure Manager who is moving into another position, there is potential that this opportunity could turn permanent for the right canddiate. 

Based in Newmarket, this will be an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Cloud and Infrastructure Manager to lead clients Cloud adoption and integration. We are seeking a confident & easygoing self-starter to jump in and run with this contract!

As the Cloud and Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for the operation and control of clients Digital infrastructure and all other systems required to deliver and support Digital services to meet the needs of the business. Other key responsibilities will include;
  • Accountable for the migration and ongoing management of chosen cloud platforms
  • Identify new and emerging hardware and software security technologies and products to help optimise current and future requirements
  • The provision of service continuity planning and support, as well as identifying critical business processes and associated risks
  • Accountable for Datacentre vendor relationships to ensure best value for money
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Proven experience in Operational Management
  • Previous experience managing public cloud functions & building out a greenfield public cloud environment
  • Proven experience and knowledge working in OT environments
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to clearly communicate strategic direction and purpose
  • Hands-on experience leading infrastructure technology delivery and collaborating in an agile environment
  • Sound understanding of digital landscape, technologies and modern practices & exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders concurrently
