Provide ongoing data to support the teams and help building data platforms
The Company:
Based in Auckland, my client is a large logistics organisation delivering services around the world. Committed to improvements and innovation, they are going through a critical digital transformation making a switch from on-premise to cloud-based infrastructure which will allow them to develop capabilities in forward-looking areas like Machine Learning or Big Data.
The opportunity:
With the ambitious goal of developing data platforms from scratch and migrating into a new system, there is an urgent need for a Data Analyst to come on board to assist the Data Analytics team in the delivery of these exciting projects.
Responsibilities:
- Helping to migrate Dynamics AX to 365 by making sure the hosting data is smoothly migrated.
- Supporting business users in using data effectively to make better business decisions.
- Providing ongoing data to support the Finance team.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to provide high quality data analytics using Power BI.
- Helping build data platforms on Azure.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within an Agile environment
- have a good understanding of how to manipulate, monitor and manage large data sets for the purpose of generating reports using Power BI
- Strong experience in T-SQL programming and MS SQL Server database.
- Experience with D365 and/or Dynamics AX required.
- Azure ecosystem exposure would be an advantage.
- Great communication skills.
