Intermediate Developer

The organisation 

This Kiwi owned software organisation offers a full suite of enterprise cloud-based software that is tailor made for the boutique airline industry. Their software covers everything from passenger service systems, departure control, freight management and real-time analytics. With growing demand and a pipeline of new clients signing up globally, they are expanding their lean development team and are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join the Whanau.  

The role 

Our client has been a 100% remote working organisation since inception, so you will get flexibility to work from home in a supportive and cohesive environment. A large emphasis is put on building cross functional skills and removing single dependencies; thus, you will get the be involved in a variety of full stack development activities including new feature development on their core applications, contribution and enhancement of cloud platform (Azure), and embedding new analytics functionality into the application. They are using a very modern technology stack with the likes of Angular and Cosmos DB, along with event-driven technology for greater versatility in their software offerings. 

Key Skills you will bring

  • Experience within the .NET framework with ideally full stack or front-end experience

  • Development experiences in modern Javascript frameworks such as React/Angular

  • Experience using a variety of cloud services such as Azure/AWS

  • An understanding of modern API's

Key requirements 

  • Broad range of development skills and an understanding of event-driven architecture 

  • Proven experience working remotely 

  • Experience within the aviation industry highly desirable 

  • An excellent attitude and sense of responsibility
