Their approach to this pivot is to help their people drive this change whilst encouraging cultural change to promote diversity in hiring and ideation throughout the wider team.

The opportunity
This is the largest transform programme in New Zealand, recently hitting approval for a multi-phase change.  At its core this is about better outcomes for the people in the Health system and greater enablement for the people delivering health services.  This means brand-new digital and technology services put in place that harness the most modern tech and innovation whilst leveraging the existing capabilities of the people who work so hard for the organisation.   All of this means simplification and consolidation of existing systems and the design and implementation of a brand new operational model. Sounds grand, but how committed are they? The organisation realizes this is not easy, so the full multi-phase programme has been signed off and budgeted for. Locked and loaded.
