The organisation:
Our client is dedicated to supporting any child in New Zealand who’s wellbeing is at risk. They have a vision of New Zealanders valuing the well-being of Tamariki above all else. To achieve their vision and goals, the organisation is undergoing a large-scale change programme to ensure that the needs of Whanau and Tamariki are being met in a sustainable way. They have completed a review of the practice and identified that major change needs to be made to service the needs of New Zealand’s Tamariki.
The Role:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for bringing planning and structure across multiple projects to ensure successful outcomes. The programme will involve delivery through 3 major tranches, and 9 sub projects, each being delivered in an iterative Agile approach. The core objective of this programme is to ensure that the core practice with Tamariki and their Whanau consistently meets expectations set in the practice standards.
The Skills required to be successful:
- Strong leadership experience – You will be capable of inspiring and motivating people towards a single great cause.
- Experienced supporting Non-IT Agile delivery
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience providing consultancy and advisory services.
- Creative, pragmatic, and able to think outside of the box to build a culture that inspires meaningful change
- An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi & Te ao Maori ways of working.
