The opportunity
Our client is a Software Services provider who have an organic passion for technology and development and are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the team. You will be embedded into a well-known and highly respected client team who are a technical powerhouse themselves. You will be part of a high performing team that are growing steadily, following on from a track record of success and high-quality delivery.
The role
In this role, you will partner with clients and acting as the conduit between the client and our client's offshore development team. Your primary goal is to ensure that clients' underlying commercial and technical needs are captured, qualified, and delivered to a high standard. Your day to day may consist of:
- Workshop facilitation with clients
- Requirements gathering
- Prioritising PBI's
- Liaising with development teams both in NZ and Vietnam
- Managing project scope and ensuring documentation is up to date
- Supporting wider team members
- Creating low-fidelity wireframes
- Managing product backlog
Skills & experience
This role is suited for a seasoned Business Analyst who has a strong grounding in 'traditional' BA activities but is also happy to be creative and explore new and innovative ways of executing their role.
- A good understanding of the SDLC
- Strong business acumen and technical understanding
- Experience working within an Agile workflow
- Experience in working on Enterprise-level software projects
- Demonstrated ability in gathering requirements, defining user stories process mapping and documentation
- Able to communicate with a geographically dispersed team (NZ & Vietnam)
