Why you would like it:

  • A chance to be paid to do what you love - foster Community!

  • Enjoy solving complex problems or prototyping?

  • Unique combo of thought leadership and technical knowledge sharing

The role:

As a Senior Community Developer you will foster and grow an active community of developers who are able to contribute to the ongoing success of Centrality’s technology by building solutions in CENNZnet.

If you are a natural thought leader, supporter of people and enjoy interacting with the developer community and catalysing innovation, then is one of those rare opportunities where you will be paid to do just that!

Any given week you could see yourself presenting at external meetups/conferences, writing compelling blog posts, creating bug bounty programs and the list goes.

But wait…

You can also get your hands dirty too :)! You will also contribute to product architecture, help review code, uphold open source standards prototype with community members etc...

Company profile:

You will most likely know Centrality for bringing together the brightest minds locally and internationally in the decentralised systems space. Since then they have continued to build out a compelling decentralised technology platform that is now open source and has an ecosystem of dApps on it already.

The skillset:

  • Senior level experience with:

    • Strong C++ with a willingness to adopt Rust (or hands on Rust experience would be ideal!)

    • Should be capable of providing feedback and discussion around ideal architecture

    • CI/CD experience, pipelines builds etc

    • Good understanding and experience with Automated testing approaches

  • Evidence of community development and engagement - blogs, post, commits etc

  • Ideally some evidence of contribution to open source projects

If you are an open minded, supportive, motivated and practical Software Engineer with a particular love for open source communities, then this role will be for you.
