Altered State Machine
Altered State Machine is a platform for the creation and training of A.I. Agents, owned and traded using NFTs, and interoperable across the Metaverse.
The protocol enables anyone to own an A.I, and the machine learning models that define what it learns over time. Owners pair an NFT intelligence (a Brain) with NFT artwork (a Form), to create their Agent.
The game

The job
Altered State Machine are looking for a technically excellent, motivated and capable Senior Full Stack Javascript Engineer.
You will help to build out features and tools for this protocol and the game in development, and will do so alongside a team of fully blooded JavaScript Engineers.
We are open to you joining as a contractor initially (6 months), however the long-term vision and preference of the team is to have talent in fixed-term agreements. Earning a mixture of $ and $ASTO.
The skills and experience we need you to bring:
⚽ Proficiency with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
⚽ Experience with Typescript, React & GraphQL.
⚽ Proficiency with NodeJS and other languages such as Python, Scala.
⚽ An understanding of functional programming concepts and their practical application.
⚽ Familiarity with AWS technology such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis and API Gateway.
⚽ Experience with DevOps practice, CI/CD, trunk based development, feature flagging and automated testing for low risk continuous deployment.
⚽ An understanding of infrastructure as code principles and confidence with HashiCorp Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
⚽ Strong communication skills and highly effective when working with a team.
