This product development company is a NZ success story. Started over 20 years ago, they now have offices in the UK, Canada, Australia and the US and the Auckland head office has over 350 employees. Having been acquired by a multi-national household brand name they now have their sights set on global reach and as such are growing their team.
The Role
One of the key teams within the organisation is the Platform Engineering team. Their job is to build or enable the build of fit-for-purpose platforms for Development teams across the organisation, allowing them to run robust applications in production and removing the barriers to Continuous Delivery.
Often seen as the glue between the Development/Operations and Governance teams, this is not a lift-and-shift role. It is a pivotal role within the organisation, tasked with building new solutions - design/review cloud solutions, build prototypes etc.
You will:
- have strong experience with AWS public cloud, preferably working within a multinational environment
- hold current AWS Professional or Associate certifications
- probably have come from a development/devops (SaaS) background and have over 7 years of commercial experience
- be able to demonstrate proven experience designing and delivering fit-for-purpose solutions
- be an outstanding communicator - both written and oral
- be confident and comfortable interacting with a diverse group of global stakeholders - both technical and business users
