The Role:

  • As a SharePoint Administrator, you will take responsibility for supporting all aspects of the architecture, development, deployment, operations, administration and training of key SharePoint infrastructure and business solutions.

  • Deliver training and support O365 business applications, driving adoption of collaboration tools with a focus on MS Teams and SharePoint and providing first-line support for SharePoint online publishers across the network

  • Develop an intranet strategy and roadmap, setting out a clear vision for the future including planning and delivery of a new SharePoint Modern intranet

  • Lead the intranet governance group to ensure the intranet is effectively governed, managed and maintained and report on progress

  • Champion greater consistency across the entire intranet, ensuring information architecture is focused on the needs of users

  • Drive the continued adoption of the intranet as a key channel - working in collaboration with the communications team

  • Oversee new intranet page requests, recommending effective solutions and leading implementation

  • Ongoing training and support for content publishers

  • Managing external vendor relationships, where applicable

  • Monitor and report on SharePoint analytics, use data to monitor performance and suggest enhancements 


You Have:

  • SharePoint experience and experience with managing CMS

  • Experience with managing multiple stakeholder relationships and relationships with SharePoint publishers

  • Strong interpersonal skills - relationship building and communication, respect of peers and other staff members, problem management, negotiation skills and an understanding of when to refer up

  • Estimation, planning and organisation - able to work to deadlines, accurately estimate time for tasks, project planning

  • Experience with analysing SharePoint data
