Role snapshot:
You will join the Auckland based development team, which is one of the primary product development teams working on new features for the core platform. The team consists of 4 seniors who work using pair programming to rapidly deliver features in 2-week cycles. They have a modern Agile approach to software development with a focus on quality over pushing something out the door. You would be joining as the company expands its development team in New Zealand and tackle some complex engineering problems.
The fit (of the ideal candidate):
- They are currently working with Java, hopefully, you are too or are open to picking it up
- You value quality and your approach to testing(TDD) highlights this
- Experience across the full-stack of development(HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Java, SQL)
- Pair programming is how this team develops quality at pace, you should enjoy working collaboratively
- Enjoy tackling new problems, researching solutions and be open to others opinions
- Knowledge of FX is a bonus but not mandatory
