Our client is a Software Services provider who have an organic passion for technology and development and are looking for a Technical LEad to join the team. You will be embedded into a well-known and highly respected client team who are a technical powerhouse themselves. The role
As a seasoned Tech Lead, you will provide technical leadership for your team and clients across a wide range of technologies. You will need to balance your strong technical ability with excellent communication skills and people management. This role is a blend of hands-on work and people leadership.
- Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Developing code and peer-reviewing team members code
- Actively contributing to daily stand-ups
- Providing technical direction to your team
- Working with offshore development teams to ensure alignment across purpose and outcome
- Working with clients directly to ensure seamless project delivery
Skills & experience
This role will suit someone who is versatile in their approach and open-minded in their work. Our client works on a number of greenfield projects, so this may require you to brush up on new technologies and keep up to date with the latest trends. On top of this:
- Effective communicator
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of the SDLC, primarily within an agile format but occasionally in more traditional workflows, e.g. waterfall (the needs of their clients usually dictate this)
- An expert-level understanding of the .Net framework
- Knowledge of AngluarJS would be highly regarded
- Comfortable with unit, performance and scalability testing
- Complete understanding of the SDLC
- Mobile app experience – NativeScript, Xamarin or native iOS and Android
- Could Integration – Azure and/or AWS
- Deployment tools – Octopus and/or Azure DevOps
