The role:
This is a lead software role where there is opportunity to have a balance of coding and leadership. Use your technical expertise to solve complex problems across automation, data presentation, performance, and strategy. Work with development teams, product managers and customers to ideate software solutions, write architecture and technical documents.
This role is a split of people, technical and delivery, so contributions of any engineering is respected.
Someone who works collaboratively, and is focused on iteratively delivering valuable things to customers would thrive in this role.
The fit:
- Lead the definition of development standards.
- Define and own Git usage (branching / versioning) source code strategy.
- Develop SaaS deployment process guidelines incl. tooling and methodology (IaC, CI/CD pipeline)
- Own the deployment of applications in Kubernetes on test, staging and production instances.
- Own deployment of application for the on-Premises client environments.
- Define the testing strategy (Unit / Test Automation) for backend and frontend.
- Lead, guide, and mentor other (NZ and offshore) developers in developing as per development standards.
