We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Lead with a proven track record in leadership, solution design, and hands-on technical expertise, particularly in the banking sector. The role will be equally split between hands-on technical work and leading a team positioned both locally and off-shore. 


The role:

  • Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor offshore development teams, ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and productivity.
    • Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to the team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the technical team.
  • Solution Design:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable, efficient, and innovative technical solutions.
    • Drive the creation and documentation of comprehensive solution architectures and design specifications.
    • Ensure that solutions align with business goals, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
  • Banking Sector Experience:
    • Leverage previous experience in the banking sector to bring domain knowledge and insights to the team.
    • Understand regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the financial industry.
    • Provide expertise in implementing solutions that address the unique challenges of the banking sector.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Hands-on experience in building microservices and complex applications.
    • Proficient in a variety of programming languages and Java technologies.
    • Take an active role in coding, debugging, and troubleshooting, maintaining a balance between leadership and technical responsibilities.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Technical Lead role, with a focus on managing offshore teams.
  • Strong background in solution design and architecture.
  • Extensive experience in the banking sector, understanding its intricacies and challenges.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building microservices and complex applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical work.
