This is a newly created role, ideal for someone who can build on strong foundations and lead a capable team through the next phase of scale. You’ll take full ownership of the manufacturing function, introducing structure, driving improvements, and enabling the business to meet growing product demand.

Manufacturing Leadership:
You’ll lead the end-to-end manufacturing function, responsible for delivering high-quality, high-spec products on time and on budget. You’ll manage the production and test teams, embed scalable processes, and create a safe, high-performing working environment.

Your focus will span:

• Operations & Delivery: Oversee all production activity, introduce repeatable systems, and deliver to key milestones on time and within scope
  
  
• People Leadership: Lead and develop a skilled team, build culture, set expectations, and manage performance
  
  
• Process & Efficiency: Drive improvements in productivity, quality, and cost; use lean and Six Sigma thinking to reduce waste and optimise workflows
  
  
• Technology & Systems: Manage manufacturing tools, technologies, and data systems; lead special projects and support new product introduction
  
  
• Quality & Safety: Own audit and compliance outcomes, embed best practices, and ensure a zero-defect, zero-incident environment

The Fit:
You’ve led manufacturing operations in a high-tech or device-focused environment, ideally working with mid-volume, high-complexity products. You bring a practical, systems-driven approach to manufacturing and know how to scale capability while maintaining quality and control.

You’ve managed teams through growth and change, implemented modern production systems, and lifted output and performance across delivery, safety, and commercial KPIs. You’re comfortable navigating complex dependencies and cross-functional input and you know how to lead through ambiguity.
