The opportunity:
This Service Desk role offers the perfect blend of technical troubleshooting and client interaction in one of New Zealand's most stunning regions. You'll be the first point of contact for technical support, helping diverse clients from your Alexandra base. The role combines hands-on problem-solving, user support, and client relationship building - ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a real difference by keeping people's technology running smoothly.

The role:
• Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance
• Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and 2 technical issues across various client environments
• Conduct remote support sessions and on-site visits throughout Central Otago
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery
• Support user onboarding and training on common applications and systems

Your fit:
• 2-3 years' Service Desk or IT support experience, ideally with an MSP background
• Strong customer service skills with patience and empathy when helping users
• Experience supporting Microsoft stack environments, particularly Microsoft 365 and Windows
• Solid troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and basic networking issues
• Knowledge of Active Directory, email systems, and common business applications
• Understanding of ITIL principles and ticket management systems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
