About the role

Contract Details:

  • 12-month contract
  • January start
  • Dunedin based position only
Deliverables/Purpose:

This role will work closely with the existing change team to deliver engagement and communications activities across a busy programme of work. You'd be responsible for developing and executing engagement and communication plans, acting as the key liaison point for stakeholder engagements.
  • Lead on stakeholder engagement including the development of comprehensive stakeholder analyses, mapping, plans and delivery of workshops.
  • Produce high-quality communications materials including comms plans, collateral and other materials as required.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate engagement and communication activities and products.
  • Work in partnership with project managers and subject matter experts to develop and deliver targeted engagement and communication plans and activities
Your Fit:
  • Demonstrable background in a similar engagement role, within a complex change programme.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to identify and manage key stakeholders using a people centred approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality communication materials for large programmes.
  • Ability to initiate and maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in appropriate judgement and assessment of risk.
  • Demonstrated experience developing engagement and communication plans.
  • Conceptual and analytical skills, with strong initiative and a ‘can do’ approach.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace ambiguity
  • Change analyst or change management experience in large-scale digital programmes is also desirable.
