The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Digital Innovation, you’ll partner with leaders across product, operations, and technology to translate strategy into practical, scalable designs. You’ll unify inputs from multiple teams and vendors, set clear guardrails, and ensure solutions are robust, secure, and cost-aware. This is a role for someone who enjoys moving between whiteboard and delivery—shaping roadmaps, guiding patterns and reference architectures, and making informed trade-offs that balance risk, speed, and value. The Role

• Define and govern solution designs across applications, cloud, security, network, and data
• Translate business goals into roadmaps, patterns, and reference architectures
• Lead integration design across teams and vendors; ensure interoperability and standards
• Assess options with clear cost/risk/benefit analysis and articulate trade-offs
• Guide teams through delivery; provide technical oversight and assurance
• Contribute to technology strategy and the organisation’s architecture practice

Your Fit

• 10+ years in IT with 5+ as a Solutions Architect delivering enterprise-scale solutions
• Breadth across software engineering, APIs/integration, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), data, networking fundamentals, and security principles
• Strong business acumen: TCO, risk, value realisation, stakeholder engagement
• Comfortable unifying multi-team/vendor designs and driving consensus
• Familiar with TOGAF/ArchiMate or similar frameworks; relevant certifications valued
• Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience
