The opportunity:

This role sits at the centre of secure solution delivery — helping teams make smart, practical security decisions without slowing down delivery. You’ll advise on control selection and design, ensuring solutions align with enterprise security controls and are integrated with Security Operations monitoring. You’ll work alongside Architects and Engineers to contribute to solution designs, recommend mitigations, and guide assurance activities. You’ll also act as an escalation point for complex incidents and change requests, helping drive timely, risk-based outcomes that align to organisational security objectives.

The role:

• Design and advise on security controls for business and technology solutions 
• Partner with delivery teams to enable secure delivery within Agile practices 
• Contribute to solution designs, threat considerations and risk treatments 
• Provide input into assurance approaches (e.g., security testing guidance) 
• Support security strategy, roadmap and control uplift/modernisation 
• Act as an escalation point for Security Operations on complex incidents/changes 

Your fit:

• Strong business and technical communication skills 
• Proven experience in security architecture/design or consulting in complex environments 
• Practical risk management mindset — enabling safe delivery, not blocking it 
• Confidence influencing and negotiating with stakeholders across all levels 
• Tertiary qualification and/or relevant certifications 
• 10+ years in Information Security, including 5+ years in design/consulting roles 
• Keeps pace with industry trends including AI services, information security and emerging tech.
