You’ll help lift delivery throughput where it matters most across Core and Account domains, moving seamlessly from early shaping to build‑ready design and staying close to engineering to see it land.
About the role:You’ll turn loosely defined ideas into crisp, build‑ready solution artefacts, surface and manage upstream/downstream impacts across platforms and services andn shape initial domain roadmaps, so delivery stays aligned to long‑term maintainability. You’ll also work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with engineers to convert intent into executable technical direction, iterating designs as new information emerges.

• Partner with existing Solution Architects and cross‑domain stakeholders to progress initiatives from concept to build‑ready.
• Produce crisp HLSAs and solution options that unblock delivery teams and accelerate drop/PI planning.
• Bring clarity to ambiguous work—structuring, prioritising and prepping items for the transformation pipeline.
• Strengthen end‑to‑end solutioning across Core, Cards & Payments, Product and Business Banking.
• Provide hands‑on guidance through build and test, iterating designs as new information emerges.
• Help teams land non‑functional requirements (resilience, security, operability) in practical, achievable ways.

What you’ll need to bring

• Proven track record delivering structured, pragmatic solution designs in large‑scale, fast‑moving environments.
• Strength in solution decomposition, integration patterns and non‑functional requirements.
• Integration and E2E design chops- domain decomposition, service/API and event design, data movement and migration touchpoints.
• Proven modern integration experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, event‑driven patterns (Kafka/Confluent), API gateway design and policy.
• Influential, with a sleeves‑rolled‑up style and able to guide early‑stage discussions, challenge assumptions and make timely trade‑offs.
• Comfortable with agile and drop/PI‑based delivery and iterate quickly with engineers.
• Confident communicator who can translate requirements into build-ready automation designs
