- 3 months, hourly rate contract, with potential to extend
- Location: Onsite, Dunedin
- Focus: BAU service desk + office move support (desk moves, workstation re-sets, reconnects, basic cabling)
- Late February start
You’ll provide onsite L1/L2 support to internal users, keeping day-to-day desktop support running smoothly while also helping the business through an office move. This includes workstation set-ups, desk moves, and practical troubleshooting across hardware, printers, and basic connectivity.
You’ll be responsible for
- Resolving L1 tickets and supporting with L2 tasks when required
- Installing and configuring hardware, operating systems and applications
- Desktop builds and migrations (including lift-and-shift work)
- Setting up workstations and providing onsite roaming/floor support
- Supporting printers and end-user hardware/peripherals
- Assisting with basic networking/cabling and connectivity issues as needed
- Delivering excellent support to internal customers and stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have around 3 years’ experience in a similar support role and genuinely enjoy delivering great customer service in a team environment. You’ll also bring:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Windows Server exposure is beneficial)
- Practical experience with networks, PC hardware and printers
- Practical experience with firewalls and network connectivity troubleshooting
- Understanding of switch and router fundamentals
- Experience supporting large-scale office moves is advantageous
- Confident communication skills to deliver high-level customer service across the business
- Confidence working onsite, including getting under desks to resolve issues when needed
