About the role
Why you would like it
- You’ll help build and run mission-critical race management software used in elite international events.
- Small, flat team where your contribution is visible and valued
- Mix of hands-on development and live event operations

The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to work on real-time Unity applications used in a live event setting where performance, reliability, and fast problem-solving matter. You’ll be building and operating interactive systems through pre-events and into a major international event in 2027. This is a Dunedin based role.

The environment is practical, delivery-focused, and collaborative, you will be working closely with operators, engineers, and event stakeholders to make sure the tech performs when it counts.
The skills and experience:
- Experience in Unity (C#) or similar 3D gaming/simulation environments
- Strong mathematical skills, especially in geometry, physics, and real‑time transformations.
- Experience working with Git and build pipelines
- Comfortable operating under pressure
- Proactive, accountable problem-solver (you don’t wait to be asked)
- Works well in a small, highly visible team, is honest, transparent and asks for help early
