About the role
Contract details
- Initial term: ASAP to 30th June
- Location: On-site in Nelson
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (No on-call)
You’ll help lift day-to-day service levels by working through a backlog of end-user work and keeping essential BAU support moving for a large enterprise environment. This is a practical role: follow documented procedures, get devices ready, and get people onboarded efficiently.
The skills and experience we need you to bring
- Desktop support experience (or strong foundational IT troubleshooting skills with proven reliability)
- Confidence with Windows PCs/laptops, peripherals, and basic hardware fault-finding
- Experience setting up devices for new starters (accounts/device readiness, peripherals, basic onboarding support)
- Ability to follow documented processes carefully (and ask the right questions when something doesn’t look right)
- Comfortable being on your feet, moving equipment between business units
- Clear communication, excellent customer service skills and a professional, punctual approach
