About the role

The opportunity
This is a permanent Data Engineer role for someone with 3+ years’ experience who cares about quality, learning, and solving real problems. You’ll work with business and technology teams to deliver data warehousing and data provisioning solutions that enable better decisions and reusable data assets. The work spans a range of data types (structured and unstructured) and use cases including geospatial and IoT, so curiosity and strong problem-solving will take you far.

The role
* Deliver data warehousing and data provisioning solutions end-to-end 
* Data modelling, transformations, and ETL/ELT pipeline development 
* Work with enterprise data domains to maximise data re-use and consistency 
* Respond to stakeholder/client technical queries in a clear, helpful way 
* Collaborate across teams using modern software delivery practices 
* Contribute to innovation across data security, AI/analytics, and data science (as you grow)

Your fit
* 3+ years’ experience in data engineering roles 
* Strong SQL skills (essential); Python experience is a bonus 
* Practical experience with data modelling, transformations, data lakes and/or warehousing 
* Exposure to structured/unstructured data; geospatial and/or IoT is beneficial 
* Comfortable working across different delivery methodologies 
* A genuine interest in learning and building breadth across the data domain
