About the role:
In this role, you will pick up and progress in-flight solution architecture work by reviewing existing artefacts, clarifying requirements and moving designs forward at pace. You’ll shape new demand coming through the business demand dashboard by defining solution options, assessing impacts and dependencies and recommending pragmatic approaches that are fit for purpose. 

You will develop clear, delivery-ready architecture outputs such as high-level designs, solution options, integration patterns, non-functional requirements and architecture decisions, while partnering closely with product, delivery, engineering, vendors and business stakeholders to align on direction and drive decisions through to action. 

You’ll also contribute to early-stage investigations that support bids and tenders by providing feasibility input, solution assumptions and a high-level approach, ensuring solutions align with security, governance and architecture standards. Throughout, you’ll collaborate with a small architecture team to share context, maintain consistency and keep multiple pieces of work moving across competing priorities.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven Solution Architecture experience in complex enterprise environments, with a minimum of 6 years
• Strong generalist approach: comfortable with ambiguity, switching context and progressing multiple pieces of demand 
• Solid architecture capability across: 
  • Cloud - Microsoft Azure
  • Integration- APIs, middleware patterns, data flows 
  • Security and NFRs- availability, resilience, performance, compliance 
• Proven stakeholder management- able to influence, challenge constructively and drive alignment 
• Nice to have: Power Platform (Power Apps/Automate/Dataverse, governance), Oracle JDE familiarity, bid/tender support experience
