The Opportunity

This Product Owner role is hands-on and delivery-focused, working across a busy pipeline of product change and improvement initiatives. You’ll be embedded within a cross-functional team and closely partnered with Business Analysts, translating customer and operational needs into clear priorities, structured user stories, and deliverable outcomes.

Rather than sitting on a single transformation project, you’ll operate across multiple parallel initiatives, maintaining flow and momentum. This role suits someone who is comfortable juggling competing priorities, making pragmatic trade-offs, and bringing clarity where not everything is defined from day one.

The Role

• Own and manage the backlog across several concurrent initiatives
• Partner closely with Business Analysts to shape discovery, clarify requirements, and maintain a strong pipeline of ready-to-deliver work
• Define user stories and acceptance criteria, supporting refinement and sprint planning
• Drive stakeholder engagement to align on priorities, scope, and outcomes
• Work across customer journeys, operational workflows, and digital experience improvements
• Contribute to integration and data-mapping discussions, working with delivery teams and external vendors
• Maintain delivery cadence through ambiguity, dependencies, and competing priorities

Your Fit

• Experience as a Product Owner (or similar) within Agile delivery teams
• Strong requirements, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable with ambiguity, able to create clarity and maintain momentum
• Confident communicator with a practical, delivery-focused approach
• Experience working with external vendors and integration-style dependencies
• Based in Dunedin or open to relocating for an in-person role
