About the role:
A large, established organisation has a solid ICT Service Operations foundation in place and is now looking to uplift capability and shift toward a more modern, product-oriented operating model. This contract will lead that transition,  including a Jira Service Management (JSM) migration and leave behind an embedded, fit-for-purpose way of working for an incoming permanent Product Manager to take over.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead the shift from a traditional ITSM environment into a product-aligned, continuous improvement model, while overseeing the migration to Jira Service Management (JSM). This includes shaping new service models and ways of working, refining processes and setting up tooling that supports automation and scalability.

A key measure of success is leaving behind an embedded operating model and toolset that’s ready for a permanent Product Manager to take ownership of.

What you will need to bring:

• Proven experience bridging service operations (ITSM/ITIL) with product delivery/product operating models, with a minimum of 6 years industry experience
• Hands-on ITSM tool implementation/migration experience, specifically Jira Service Management
• Ability to work across strategy and delivery- designing, implementing and embedding
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, comfortable bringing people along through change
• Track record delivering outcomes in evolving/ambiguous environments
• Understanding of, or openness to working within, te ao Māori environments is beneficial
