Large-scale enterprise energy business are looking for continued success in their digital and performance space. Critical to the success of this team, is the capability of the Marketing Manager who will lead the team responsible for developing and delivering digitally led marketing initiatives across customer journeys, to deliver on desired customer and commercial outcomes.

The opportunity:
This people leader role will be a subject matter expert for all things Marketing Performance, and with support of the Marketing Capability and Development Manager, will lead the customer-first, data-driven strategy to improve the customer experience and increase ROI across digital platforms. 
You will be passionate and genuine about growing and developing people, as the first responsibility of this role is to contribute to the leadership of Marketing and the wider retail team.  


The fit:
  • Providing the team with clear direction by managing the strategic development and delivery of a digital roadmap that aligns to the retail priorities.
  • Oversee, and build upon customer-facing digital touchpoints, including the website, lifecycle comms, customer database, online and social media channels
  • Contributing to the growth of digital capability both within marketing and across the wider retail function
  • Ensuring marketing effectiveness to maximise ROI through putting in place the right tools, processes, analytics and metrics to most effectively track performance on-going 
  • An extensive background in functional technical skills in digital marketing is essential
  • Advanced understanding of email templates, HTML+CSS and responsive design, use of databases and email marketing systems is required.
  • Strong understanding of website optimisation, UX, A/B testing, SEO, and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and other relevant reporting tool is also required
