This household name brand is set on global expansion, growing the emerging segments through a mix of partnering, channel distribution and white-labelling existing and new products. These methods are in various states of readiness, some mature, others right at the birth of their execution. Expansion is well underway, marked by a strong focus on acquiring new customers, expanding the workforce, and enhancing the product capabilities. 

This growth means they are on the lookout for a General Manager of Product Lines & Marketing, essentially a CPO, to steer the ship and take ownership of the product portfolio and product strategy. 

Building upon their current successes while expanding their offerings, this new leader will be tasked with new product demands, setting product strategies, bringing product thinking and empowering the product teams to deliver products their partners and customers love.

Product Executive Leadership:

The journey of growth and change for this business has been proud and ongoing work. This role will be responsible for leading the commercial and product outcomes of the business. It encompasses executive and tactical product roadmap and strategy, managing existing and upcoming product suites. The role will require a visionary leader who can build upon current success and cater to future business needs as the company scales.

The role breaks down into three core components:

Product Management: dream and define a rallying vision, garner insights and knowledge to build confidence in marriage of product and strategy. Gather market insights and customer feedback and oversee the entire product development lifecycle.

Delivery Management: Employ strategic and product thinking to define and optimise frameworks, ensuring the achievement of milestones and attainable goals. Orchestrate delivery through team leads and foster robust relationships with other parts of the business.

Product Governance: Strategically navigating risks, and overseeing the delivery systems. Spearhead innovative special projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, product, and sales. Measuring and achieving the quantitative and qualitative success metrics, ensuring their products align seamlessly with the overarching business outcomes.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of product lines and marketing endeavours. You should actively contribute to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with solutions spanning the breadth of the business. As a champion of the company's values and behaviours, you will lead by example, fostering a culture of ambition that propels the team towards achieving their annual product goals.

Your subject matter expertise will shine as you provide vital leadership to your global team, oversee product management for both existing and emerging product lines, incumbent and new categories. You will craft strategic business plans, promoting a culture of open communication, data-driven decision-making, and a continuous pursuit of creativity. Staying at the forefront of industry trends and innovations, you will infuse fresh insights into the team.

Your adept people leadership skills will be pivotal as this role will manage up to 10 direct reports, cultivating a workplace that thrives on clarity, communication, and recognition. Being part of the Senior Leadership Team, you'll have delegated authority, including budget responsibility aligned with annual plans and sales targets that encompass significant short-term and long-term growth objectives, amplifying the impact of your contribution.
