The opportunity:
Simplicity is key in any successful product and that begins from the code up. Working with the design and product team, you will advise on structure and capability for what the front-end should be able to achieve. To ensure that there is no prevention to your success, the CTO will be your direct manager. At present this product suite is highly functional, but the richness and consistency is lacking. Here's where you step in.
Role snapshot:
As part of the microservices journey, the front-end is being rearchitected and shifted towards a contemporary toolset with JavaScript components built in VueJS as well as the use of APIs. You'll have a big hand in creating apps for an international audience, helping create the care and treatment plans for those with long-term and severe illnesses. These apps will harness the data provided, process it and feeding into partner systems and solutions around prognostics. You'll be central to the technology advancing and the performance of these products. As you progress, you could help the team members grow their own capability and thrive by acting as a mentor. Ultimately this role will be THE person owning the front-end and possibly the integration of a scaling product suite.
The fit:
Purposeful and passionate about developing effective code and world-class solutions
Full stack developer with JavaScript experience preferably VueJS, but Angular or React is also transferable
.Net and C# coding capability
AWS or Azure environment experience
Exposure to IaC, Build Automation and Continuous Delivery, ideally including Terraform and container-based deployments if possible
A knowledge of SOLID principles and an ability to apply and show patterns and architectural practices
