The opportunity:
While you wouldn't traditionally think of this business as an IT powerhouse, the day to day software environment used by 1000's of employees is a complex and sophisticated machine. With the exception of a few off the shelf ERP systems, everything else is bespoke in-house product development engineered onsite by an incredible team. With a number of projects in the pipeline (heavily focussed on business process automation and acquisition) the IT team is humming and needing a Senior Software Developer to break up an existing monolith and create a highly scalable microservices-based ERP solution that is core the businesses success. Add to that a recently developed innovation hub meaning that this is just a stepping stone to integrate cutting edge technologies on a massive scale.

Is this you?
You follow BDD and prefer a microservices architecture
At least 5 years of desktop and web development experience
You've built desktop apps as well as highly scalable cloud-based solutions and know how to get them talking
In-depth knowledge of C# language, .NET fundamentals, LINQ, ASP.NET and Web API
Experience with SQL Server
JavaScript, React, Redux, Webpack
Experience working with modern frontend framework and patterns.
An understanding of SOLID principles and the ability to apply them.
Automated testing frameworks and methodologies (NUnit, Specflow, etc)
Strong knowledge of distributed system architecture
