The Product Designer will drive the future vision and direction of the client’s product and features. You will be in a key role leading a junior designer who will be focussed mainly on the UI of the application. Working collaboratively with our team and customers, you will dive into the overall user experience to understand pain points while exploring new features and improvements. You will set the future design vision for product and ensure scalability to accommodate future use cases.

Our client is a SaaS market research company that has embedded generative AI into their web application. The have an MVP product in use with some awesome well-known NZ and AU brands. They’ve been loving the product and the market. You will help overhaul the UI to match their sweet new branding, take onboard the learnings from foundation customers, and help them rapidly roll out awesome new features. This is an exciting opportunity for a product designer to be involved early stages and shape a great product.
The role:
- Drive the future vision and direction of the organisation’s product and features
- Collaborate closely with the team and customers to understand user pain points and explore new features
- Set the design vision for the product, ensuring scalability for future use cases
- Overhaul the UI to match our new branding and rapidly roll out exciting new features
- Take ownership of UX/UI design, from research to prototyping to final product delivery
Knowledge and skills:
- 3+ years' experience in UX/UI design for SaaS web applications
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or XD
- Experience with PrimeReact Design System
- Has an existing portfolio of SaaS applications
- Experience with user testing and usability analysis
- Strong collaboration skills in an Agile environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Energetic, creative, and full of ideas
- Excellent communication skills and a user-centric mindset
