Our client is a creative studio based in Auckland who are developing a range of real-world applications for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to empower artists and developers around the world. They are at the cutting edge of gaming, building a platform where users can train, trade and game with AI agents using NFT technology. This role signals the future of gaming and finance, where AI bots compete and interact with each other in the Metaverse.
The role
We're looking for a web developer with a creative flair to ensure that our clients' website continues to evolve and assist on new and ongoing projects. You will be well supported and allowed to flex your creative and development chops! This role does not come around often and is a real opportunity to break new ground in the Web 3.0 space alongside a passionate team. This role is remote, so we're open to applicants all over New Zealand!
What we're looking for?
Do you have a mix of technical and creative skills? Are you wanting to work in an environment pushing boundaries in your field? Then you might be suitable for this role.
The key tech skills we're looking for are:
- Solid understanding of web technologies and web infrastructure
- A degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience as a full-time Web Developer
- Technical proficiency in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS
- Demonstrated solid background developing marketing websites, digital campaigns, or creative digital brand experiences
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude
- Familiarity with source control management
- An understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- At least 3+ years of professional experience
