About the role

We’re working with a client looking for an Azure Engineer for an initial 3-month contract. This is a hands-on role focused on building and supporting cloud-native solutions across Azure, with a strong emphasis on APIs, integrations, and serverless technologies.

You’ll be joining a collaborative delivery environment where you’ll work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable cloud solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing, developing, and supporting solutions within Microsoft Azure
• Building and maintaining APIs and integration services
• Developing and deploying Azure Functions and serverless components
• Supporting cloud-based application and integration initiatives
• Troubleshooting and optimising existing Azure environments
• Working closely with stakeholders to translate technical and business requirements into scalable solutions
• Contributing to continuous improvement and best practice across cloud engineering

• Strong commercial experience working within Microsoft Azure environments
• Experience building and supporting APIs
• Hands-on experience with Azure Functions
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and integration patterns
• Experience working within fast-paced delivery environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capability
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a contract role
