About the role

The Opportunity
This is a high-stakes, high-impact transition project within a fast-paced, customer-critical environment. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a major ecommerce platform migration; moving digital ordering capabilities to a new environment while keeping the business running smoothly.

If you've successfully delivered platform replacements in high-volume retail environments, and thrive on managing complex, multi-workstream transitions, this could be your next challenge.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the full transition lifecycle: Plan and execute the migration of digital ordering systems, including timeline management, dependencies, resource planning, and governance
  • Manage critical workstreams: Oversee online/mobile ordering, loyalty programmes, menu/catalogue sync, payment and POS integration, and third-party delivery marketplace connections
  • Own cutover and hypercare: Define transition scope, rollback plans, and success criteria. Lead command-centre coordination, incident triage, and post-go-live stabilisation
  • Coordinate across stakeholders and vendors: Align cross-functional internal teams (IT, operations, marketing, finance) and external vendors to minimise business disruption
  • Drive business readiness: Oversee UAT, operational readiness, training, and structured handover to BAU support teams
What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale ecommerce, digital commerce, or restaurant technology migrations, particularly in high-volume retail
  • Strong understanding of customer-critical ordering flows in multi-location environments
  • Technical familiarity with POS systems, payment gateways, loyalty platforms, delivery aggregators, and data migration
  • Expertise in cutover planning, risk mitigation (preventing order loss/downtime), and post-implementation stabilisation
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in dynamic, fast-moving environments
Why Contract with Us?
  • Exposure to high-impact projects with real business outcomes
  • Flexibility and autonomy to manage your workload
  • Competitive daily rates that reflect your expertise
  • Expand your professional network across industries and disciplines
  • Work on diverse, challenging assignments that keep your skills sharp
