We're partnering with an established digital consultancy that's looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help grow its client portfolio. This is a genuine hunter role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and turning conversations into long term partnerships. You'll be selling digital and technology services into organisations that value strategic thinking, user centred design and modern software delivery. Working alongside experienced technical specialists, you'll lead client conversations, shape tailored proposals and help solve complex business challenges through digital solutions.

This role has a strong private sector focus, so we're looking for someone with a proven track record of developing and winning new business within commercial organisations. While experience selling into government is valuable, success in this role will come from building relationships and growing opportunities across the private sector.

What you'll be doing

  • Building your own pipeline through proactive business development.
  • Developing new opportunities across the private sector.
  • Leading discovery meetings and developing trusted client relationships.
  • Preparing proposals and presenting tailored digital solutions.
  • Creating compelling pitch decks and confidently presenting solutions to prospective clients.
  • Working closely with technical teams throughout the sales process.
  • Growing strategic client relationships following successful delivery

We're keen to hear from people who have
  • Proven experience selling digital, technology or consulting services into the private sector.
  • A strong track record of winning new business through proactive business development.
  • Confidence engaging senior decision makers and building long term commercial relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience preparing proposals, developing presentation material and delivering client presentations.
  • The ability to create engaging pitch decks and confidently present solutions to executive stakeholders.
  • Experience managing opportunities from prospecting through to close.
  • A consultative sales style with genuine curiosity about client challenges.
