About the role

We're partnering with an established New Zealand business embarking on one of the most exciting technology transformations in its history.

They're building a brand new AI-powered software platform designed to transform how the organisation operates, with the potential to deliver significant operational improvements before eventually being commercialised as a standalone product.

You'll be joining at the very beginning of the journey, helping shape a genuine Greenfield product alongside a small, highly collaborative team of developers, product specialists and technical leaders.

For the first 12 to 18 months, the focus is entirely on building an exceptional product, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact from day one.

About the role

This is a true full stack development role where you'll be building new features, solving real business problems and contributing to technical decisions in a fast-moving environment. You'll work closely with experienced engineers while taking ownership of your own work and continuing to grow your technical capability. The engineering team embraces modern development practices, including AI-assisted development, and encourages developers to explore new tools and technologies that improve productivity and code quality. You'll have the opportunity to broaden your experience while working on a product that's being built from scratch.

What we're looking for

You'll likely have around 3 to 5 years' commercial software development experience and be comfortable working across modern JavaScript technologies. Experience with the following would be beneficial:

• React
• Node.js
• TypeScript
• REST APIs
• Git
• Agile development practices

Experience with Supabase, CI/CD, automated testing or AI development tools would be an advantage, but not essential.
