The role

You’ll be responsible for:
* Designing and delivering data warehousing and provisioning solutions 
* Building and improving ETL processes across varied data sources 
* Leading data modelling and data quality practices 
* Working with structured, unstructured, geospatial and IoT data 
* Partnering with business and technology teams to understand requirements 
* Helping create reusable, scalable data assets and analytical solutions 
* Contributing to modern data engineering practices across the team 

Your fit

You’ll likely bring:
* 5+ years’ experience in data engineering 
* Strong skills across Databricks, Python and SQL 
* Experience with data lake storage, data warehousing and data modelling 
* Exposure to Azure and Microsoft Fabric would be useful 
* A good understanding of software development methodologies 
* Curiosity across AI, analytics, data science and emerging technology 
* Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical ideas simply
