About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Digital Workspace Engineer to join an established technology team on an initial 3–4 month contract.This is a hands-on opportunity for a strong Microsoft-focused engineer who enjoys building modern digital workplace solutions, solving complex technical problems and working with emerging technologies across Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Azure.

You’ll be responsible for designing, building and supporting secure, scalable and well-governed digital workplace solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
You’ll work across:

  • Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Copilot Studio
  • Microsoft 365, SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and Azure
  • Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Automation Runbooks
  • TypeScript, C#/.NET, PowerShell and SQL
  • M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI and AI Foundry
  • Entra ID, security, identity and data protection
  • Integration, automation and solution lifecycle management
  • Technical design and troubleshooting
  • Technical leadership and escalation support
You’ll work closely with product owners, architects and engineering teams to turn business requirements into practical, secure and scalable technical solutions.
About youWe’re looking for someone who is genuinely hands-on technically and has strong experience across the Microsoft ecosystem.
You’ll ideally bring:
  • Strong Power Platform experience across Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
  • Solid Microsoft 365 and Azure experience
  • Experience with SPFx, Azure Functions, Logic Apps or Automation Runbooks
  • Strong development capability with C#/.NET, TypeScript, PowerShell and/or SQL
  • Experience working with enterprise security, identity and governance requirements
  • Exposure to Microsoft AI technologies, particularly Copilot and Copilot Studio
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Experience in a complex enterprise or public sector environment is advantageous

Rate: $100–$120/hr + GST
