About the role

We're looking for hands-on IT Support Specialists to support a major technology migration within a healthcare environment.

Full-time onsite in Gisborne, or alternating weeks onsite in Wellington and Gisborne, with travel and accommodation covered.

About the role

You'll provide frontline support following the migration of email, Microsoft Teams and devices, helping staff get back up and running with minimal disruption.
You'll work directly with users, troubleshoot issues, provide guidance and training, and coordinate with specialist teams when more complex problems arise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing onsite, floor-walking support following the migration of email, Teams and devices.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for post-migration technical issues and questions.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly to minimise disruption.
  • Supporting users to adopt new technology and ways of working.
  • Escalating complex issues and coordinating resolutions with specialist teams.
  • Prioritising incidents based on clinical and operational impact.
  • Delivering practical user guidance and just-in-time training.
  • Gathering feedback and communicating issues, risks and resolutions to stakeholders.
About you

You'll be a practical, user-focused IT professional who can hit the ground running in a busy environment. You'll be confident troubleshooting technical issues, communicating with users of varying technical abilities and remaining calm under pressure.

You'll ideally bring:
  • Experience providing hands-on IT support in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, including Outlook and Teams, and end-user devices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to prioritise issues and escalate when required.
  • A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to work effectively with different teams.

Must be able to start promptly, travel if required and occasionally work across a 24/7 shift pattern as needed.

Apply now or get in touch to discuss the opportunity.
