The opportunity
We’re looking for an early career Business Analyst to join a major banking transformation programme based full-time, on-site in Invercargill. Working within a technology and transformation environment, this role is focused on understanding and improving business processes, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and user guides, and supporting gathering information and documenting business requirements. This opportunity would suit someone with around 1–3 years’ experience who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and making processes simpler and more effective.

The role

• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and user guides.
• Create process maps and clear, practical documentation.
• Document and improve existing business processes and workflows.
• Work with stakeholders to understand processes and identify improvements.
• Support the introduction of new processes, systems, and ways of working.

 
Your fit

• Around 1–3 years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a similar role.
• Experience documenting processes, procedures, and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
• Confident working with stakeholders and asking questions.
• Organised, curious, and keen to learn and develop.
• Exposure to banking or financial services would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
• Committed to being on-site in Invercargill.
