Wellington CBD based key government agency who is responsible for ensuring New Zealand makes the most of export opportunities in the primary sector. Along with this they ensure that those in the sector operate in a sustainable way that aligns to our global climate change limitation responsibilities.
Role
You will be leading a team of over 20 and guiding them through the design and delivery of a key programme of work that has been legislated by cabinet. You will be supported by a key small team who will be doing the day to day which includes a Change Advisor, Senior Project Manager and Product Owner.
Key Duties
Consultation with the sector around the proposed changes that are going to be put into place
A Change Management scope statement that clearly articulates the inclusions, exclusions as well as who the responsible parties are
A plan and timeline for delivery, engagement, training, communication and service design
Responsibility for the management of a budget circa $3-4 million per year
Key Skills
Proven experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams in government
Proven track record of engaging with challenging stakeholders in large organisations
Experience in a full range of change management workstreams
Can point to both experience in developing a change strategy / approach as well as doing the doing of implementing this strategy
