Your role:

As the CTO, you will champion the vision, strategy, and governance for the organisation's technology initiatives. Driving research, analysis, and data synthesis to inform decision-making and design and implement delivery systems and processes.

You will also be responsible for the following key areas:

People Management: Lead, manage, and mentor technology teams

Delivery Management: Implementing scalable processes, allocating work effectively, and tracking strategic and tactical milestones, optimising resource allocation, utilising both in-house teams and external vendors

Technology Governance: Own the technology roadmap, manage risks, and oversee engineering delivery systems, leading special projects and collaborate closely with adjacent cross-functional teams

Commercial Acumen: Bringing commercial expertise to the role, align technical decisions with business goals and ensure a forward-looking approach to technology

If you enjoy overseeing strategic and tactical engineering and technology initiatives and the development and delivery of global software and device products, here is where you’ll thrive. Having come from a technology background, you will be commercially-minded, able to marry business, product and technical decisions with future-proofing in mind. This is a bona-fide executive role, leading leaders and overseeing a group of 60+ people, communicating with fellow executives and the board. Preferably you’ll understand hardware and integration well, but building software products and customer-centricity is the real joy here.
