Leading healthcare provider are looking for continued success in their IT roadmap with particular emphasis on the data performance space. Critical to the success of this team, is the capability of the Data Engineer who will be responsible for the design, development, support, and maintenance of data warehouse solutions for the organisation. The data engineer will focus on the data collection and processing layer of BI including the underlying database(s), ETL and relevant infrastructure services and solutions. 

The opportunity:
This Data Engineer will be an expert for all things Data related and will actively engage with relevant stakeholders to align development and usage of data warehouse to business reporting needs. In this role you will be starting from scratch, and be able to build reports that have real impact on the healthcare industry.


The fit:
  • Lead the design, development, and support of data warehouses including Snowflake and associated infrastructure. 
  • Actively support the maintenance of data solutions and infrastructure including security and access requirements.
  • Responsible for documenting the design and usage of data warehouse solutions.
  • An extensive background with a range of data warehouse and ETL tools, particularly AWS, Azure and Snowflake required. 
  • Experience or exposure to development tools including Java and python preferred. 
  • Experience with Snowflake ETL tools such as Snowpipe, Matillion, dBT, Talend or similar is advantageous.
