My client has created a predictive tool using machine learning predictive analytics that improve forecast accuracy for their clients using customer data from a variety of sources, especially social media and search platforms.
The Opportunity:
Having grown rapidly in the past few months, there is a clear need for a Chief Data Scientist to come on board and lead the teams working on the research, development, and delivery of demand forecasting projects.
- You will work with the Data Scientists and Data Engineers team to understand their needs and provide guidance
- By bringing together multiple data sources, you will coherently mesh together and manipulate each set to identify the market opportunity and risks for reputation management and social marketing campaign optimisation.
- You will direct solution architecture with specific focus on continuing development of the underlying analytics platform.
- You will drive the delivery of business insight through advanced and statistical analysis and research, as well as conducting multiple iterations to improve model performances.
- You will have the chance to work across multiple industry sectors including, Insurance, Retail, Tourism, etc.
- Leadership skills to build a strong data science community.
- Collaborative, team player to work alongside other key stakeholders in the organization in an agile environment
- Traditional Machine Learning and Deep Learning experience using Python, AWS and SageMarker.
- You have experience shipping models to production, you’re comfortable with running data science workloads on the cloud and container-based technologies.
- You have worked in a team that deploys best-practice engineering skills, including unit testing, CI/CD, and git.
- Exceptional communications skills are key as you will be working with a highly energetic and dynamic team
