Purpose of role

The core purpose of the role is to enhance, maintain and support the codebase and services that the Application is built upon.

Your role

Your role will be to perform research and implementation at both a code and platform level that enables the product development teams to deliver new features and functionality as efficiently and reliably as possible and in a standardised accessible manner. You will ensure that any solutions support the system to keep it error free and performant. You will also help with code reveiw and develop design guidelines related to best practice.

Key Requirements
  • A strong understanding of typical performance bottlenecks and how to solve them
  • Sound working knowledge of perfomance monitoring platforms such as New Relic and Raygun
  • Sound working knowledge of Azure and ideally Azure DevOps
  • Ability to work autonomously, be a self-starter and have a desire to make enhancements in the organisations best interest
  • A keen learner who is wanting to continue improving and growing
  • Any experience with T-SQL would be a bonus
